Should you choose to try the window tint removal Karrabin on your own, there are different methods you can use. Here are two of the most efficient and safe to use:

Ammonia and sun. You will need a couple of black trash bags, soapy water in a spray bottle, some undiluted ammonia, razor blade, and a nice warm sunny day.

• Cut the trash bags to the shape that will cover the windows.
• Spray soapy water on the outside of the window and use the trash bag to cover it.
• Place the second piece of trash bag over the ammonia-covered surface as quickly as possible. Note that you have to wear a face mask and protective gloves when working with chemicals.
• Do this out under the heat of the sun for an hour.
• Pick the corner of the film with a razor blade and carefully peel it off. Have the film moistened with ammonia to help the process.
• Clean off the residual adhesive from the window.

Steamer. This is the easiest method. Using steamer can remove the car tint quickly. Set the steamer to full power and heat the film. This eventually melts the glue and make it easy to peel the tint off. Then clean the windows after.
