 Last time we discussed how you can properly clean your windows in preparation for the installation. This time, we are going to talk about the proper installation of car window tinting Coalfalls.
To start your windows with the installation, do not remove any of the backing first and attempt to install it. You will need to lay the automotive film against the outside of the window first and check if the size fully covers the glass. Then, clean the inside of the window again with the tint solution, but this time leave it wet. Once done, wind down the window by around 2cm and start placing the tinting film at the top. Make sure not to peel it all the way through and just peel the tint at the half way down before spraying the exposed adhesive side with the solution. Make sure to leave a 3mm gap to the top edge of the window and position the peeled the section against the window. Use the squeegee and lay the top 3 or 4 cm worth of film on the window and squeeze the air bubbles that you find on the film so it remains smooth against the glass. Let it dry a little before placing the rest of the tint to make certain that it is properly fixed. When it is finally dry, remove all the backing sheet and continue with the rest of the tint film. Tuck the bottom edge of the film down. To complete the process, before you use the squeegee at the bottom edge flat draw the rubber trim away from the window. Comments are closed.
